Report of our AGM 18 May 2018

This year we made a couple of changes to our AGM. We held it on a Friday instead of the more usual Wednesday or Thursday and we rang the changes on the refreshment front by having delicious Mexican food, which was new for us. There were slightly fewer people attending than in the past so we will be reverting to a mid-week time in future. However the food was a great success! And so was our speaker, Louisa Parker, who talked on her experience of growing up as a person of colour in the rural South West. We were very grateful that Louisa made it at al las her daughter had gone into labour that very day and she was anxious to get off to be by her side!

Of course we conducted all the usual business of financial report, chair’s report and most importantly, election of trustees.
